Picked up a loose '72 Corgi Red Tire Batmobile over the weekend. Aside from the color of the tires, there are many other differences between it and my '79 Corgi Wide Wheel Batmobile, including door stickers, suspension, spoke count, headlight color, canopy color, horn size, pulsating turbine exhaust flames and the writing underneath ('79 version has "National Periodical Publications Inc." at the bottom.) The Corgi 267 Batmobile was produced from '66 to '83 with a ton of variations along the way; some subtle some not. Still my all-time favorite Corgi piece.

Nice! That's a beaut. Congrats!
I'm woefully ignorant on the specifics of the various versions of the Corgi Batmobile. Heck, I finally got one myself a few years back, and I have no clue which version I have. I somehow missed out on this one as a kid, only having multiple copies of the Corgi Jr.

Very nice! I absolutely loved the Corgi Batmobile as a kid and even more so today. I have a boxed German Batmobile and Batboat giftset and a more traditional Batmobile on display in my office. I so love them. You have a very nice piece there. Thanks for sharing!Comment
