Oh yeah been waiting forever for this film.

Not a remake... just a sequel.

Really excited about this one. I think Hardy should make a good Max.

I thought Fury Road takes place between Mad max & the Road warrior?

From the trailer, it looks like a fusion of many aspects of the whole trilogy.
There are quite a few nods to several scenes from the three films, some of them even have the exact same camera set-up.

It doesn't look too bad, but to me the original two will never be beaten. No amount of CG will ever replace stuntmen donating their sweat and blood to make a bonecrunching scene come alive...
But I like the look of the new movie, so I'll be in that movie theatre in 2015!

Totally onboard for this film. Like Gorn Captain said, it won't replace the original films, but as a continuation, it's going to rock!
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

Here's a great short on the stunt work from Road Warrior...

I wish they had let the "feral kids" aspect out of it. That scares me a bit about this trailer.
To me, that was the end of Mad Max, when cute little kids were introduced to get a more "kid-friendly" franchise. I'm sorry, but Mad Max doesn't do Disney!

The first part of Thunderdome was fine, the second part way too sugary sweet.

Too explosiony. I think I'd like it more if it was Mad Max: Furry Rd and we had a crossover.

                          Too perfect

I like the cheapness feel of the originals

Now that's what I'm talking about: just blood and sweat stunts, no computers, and 22 stuntmen in the hospital.
I'll never forget that bike stunt, when the stuntman cartwheels into that ditch: it was real, and therefore (as a viewer) it made a real impact...

Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior) remains one of my all time favourite movies. It's awesome. Also like the first one. But never did like Beyond Thunderdome.
Really psyched up for Fury Road.
