Wait, so you dremel those bodies? Or do you sculpt, mold and cast and the dremel comes to play at the joints? Can I ask about your mold making/casting? What do you use for the molds? How about the casting material? I just started casting heads and can see experimenting more and more. Regardless of your process, nice stuff man!

          "Slush cast"? Like roto-casting?

            Thanks.

the body is a mashup of mego T-2, Castaway, Flattworld and Jakks. I found all the parts I liked and then modified them to work together. I sculpted the muscles on the arms and legs and adjusted the torso to accept the parts (added the openings for head and arms, plus added the balljoint at the bottom). The parts were then molded (with alumilite products) and cast (with smooth on products). Once they're cast, the torso and pelvis need to be hollowed out (with drill and dremel). I use standard mego/castaway pins and craft store elastic to join everything together.

Well, if you do LMK...I want at least 1 or 2.

                Thanks, Dane

I thought the skinny was a pretty good body. It works great for the non-buff hero types in sci-fi. The (relatively) muscle bound Venture Bros kids always come to mind, as well as the 11th Doctor on the Doc Mego body.

Did you modify that torso from the Flatt Dracula one?

^^ yes I did. I really like the Flattworld body, but I always felt it was "over sculpted". I tried to soften a lot of the muscle detail.

                        Agreed.

Although kitbashing with Castway and T2 parts it turns out pretty well.

I sold my personal copy a year ago and have regretted it since. I feel good almost having this guy back...
