Thanks for that heads up! I was upset that I didn't pull the trigger the other day, then it had gone back up.

I'm so excited for this. And to top it off, TVShowsOnDVD.com got the confirmation today that all episodes are uncut, *including* the "In Color" bumpers that a lot of people wanted. I'd have even been cool without those as long as the Gore songs and the window cameos are there.

Now people are complaining that the Batgirl pilot isn't on it. It's on YouTube...

Agreed, but even the non-DVD loving HardyGirl will suck it up and buy this anyway, b/c once they're gone, I'll be SO mad if I don't get the deluxe set. You know they'll sell out quick!

As an overseas fan of Batman 1966 I wonder if I should buy the U.S. boxset.
Does anyone know if these Blu Rays will work on a European player?
It seems that most Warner Blu Rays are "region free". But will these be too?

They didn't say anything about a release for the European market, did they?

I have the same question, Agent, being European myself. Let's hope we can pick up a set this side of the pond.
From what I heard, "Region Free US discs don't always work on regular European players, so we need to check this well before buying...

It's not classified, I just thought it wasn't important I'm from Germany.

The amazon.com description says it's region A. I wonder if it's accurate?

amazon.co.uk now has a Blu-Ray box listed for pre-order:
"Batman: The Complete TV Series - Limited Edition [Blu-ray] [1966] [Region Free]"

No details on the contents so far, except for the languages (English, French, German, Italian ?) .
But it's good to see, that the Blu-Rays will be available in Europe.

I've pulled the trigger and pre-ordered a BR set. I plan on ripping to high res and sell the set. Not much into discs these days and the digital downloads are highly compressed and DRM'd, compared to their BR counterparts. Finally get to load on my daughter's iPad for travels.
