News on Figures Toy Company Products

Okay as some of you know I have posted about bringing Hot current info on our new favorite FTC 8" figures. I do have permission to release some info and some will have to be kept secret until FTC releases the info. I will forward some questions on to them and try to answer some info that I have with their kind permission. Stay tuned here tomorrow for some great updates. Some of the questions you asked me in previous threads will be answered tomorrow. Stay Tuned BatFans

I've seen two of those in the last month, both around $20.

Okay Good news and Bad news. Good news everything I stated will happen. Bad news it will be Wednesday instead of tomorrow. It gives me a little more time though to organize a few more questions for FTC and get some real good details on up coming items. I'll just end with one clue in a song for you 66 Bat-Fans to un-riddle!

            King Tut (King Tut)
Now when he was a young man,
            He never thought he'd see
People stand in line to see the boy king.

(King Tut) How'd you get so funky?
(Funky Tut) Did you do the monkey?
            Born in Arizona,
            Moved to Babylonia (king Tut).

(King Tut) Now, if I'd known
They'd line up just to see him,
            I'd taken all my money
And bought me a museum. (king Tut)

Buried with a donkey (funky Tut)
            He's my favorite honkey!
            Born in Arizona,
            Moved to Babylonia (king Tut)

(Tut, Tut) Dancin' by the Nile, (Disco Tut, Tut)
The ladies love his style, (boss Tut, Tut)
Rockin' for a mile (rockin' Tut, Tut)
            He ate a crocodile.

He gave his life for tourism.
            Golden idol!
            He's an Egyptian.

            They're selling you!

            Now, when I die,
            Now don't think I'm a nut,
            Don't want no fancy funeral,
Just one like ole king Tut. (king Tut)

He coulda won a Grammy, (king Tut)
Buried in his Jammies, (king Tut)
Born in Arizona, moved to Babylonia,
He was born in Arizona, got a condo made of stone-a,
            King Tut!

Ok, very important things. Before his release, Penguin need an umbrella. This is a must, as it's the most used accessory in the show after the batarang. Second, Mr. Freeze would be a useless figure without his fire extinguisher backpack and freeze gun. I mean how can he do anything without it? The figure wouldn't even display well. Please, if you can only do two accessories for the villains, these two are it.

Tut is not that much of a riddle. He's been planned and mentioned by FTC from the get go on this line.

^^^ Yep. The list of characters was listed with the original press release...

"Series 1 will include Batman, Robin, The Riddler & The Joker. Future series will include The Penguin, Catwoman, Dick Grayson, Bruce Wayne, Egghead, King Tut, Mr. Freeze, Shame, Bookworm, Mad Hatter, Batman (with removable cowl), Robin (with removable mask), The Joker in prison baseball outfit, The Joker in opera outfit, & The Joker in grey suit."

All is coming to pass as the great prophet, Jr. Ramsey had predicted!

BBP has an SNL license, but they're not doing 8-inch as we originally thought. I'm guessing FTC picked up the 8-inch.

It would be real easy to make Steve Martin in Tut gear, you just need the Bat '66 pieces and a new head sculpt. You can than use that head for the Festrunk brothers, (which really fits with FTC as it's more male figures wearing street clothes). Then you have an Ackroyd for Elwood, Coneheads.

                        I hope I'm not right.

Hmmm... could this be the next assortment, wave 3 ... including King Tut & Mr Freeze? And maybe Mad Hatter too?

They posted a pic of Eli Wallach as Mr. Freeze on FB, so Im guessing he is coming up soon.

well predicting what figures may be made is far different than actually knowing which one's are being made and knowing when their coming out is also very important. Stay Tuned.
