Crazy Fat Ethel from Criminally Insane

First of all, don't ask why I needed a custom of this character. It was supposed to be a quickie project, but it turned out to be more complicated than I thought.
The movie is available in its entirety on YouTube. You've been warned. http://youtu.be/qnnLvqIM3C8
Here's the movie poster and some reference.

The base figure is one of the Stooges figures. I'm not sure if it's Curly or they made one of his sub-par replacements in toy form. The face and body are modified with MagicSculp.

Couldn't help myself. I was having too much fun taking progress pics of this stage.

The face paint took a while before I was happy with it. Here it is before the hair.

I need to find a Mego-scale knife for her, but here's the finished figure. Instead of drilling holes to reroot, I was lazy and just glued the hair on. The dress is made from scratch. I just took a guess at a close-enough match and bought a quilting quarter.

Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

Not familiar with the source material... but super impressed by the transformation. The in progress pic is a hoot. Great job!

That is the scariest custom figure I've ever seen. Don't know why you want it in your home, but an excellent job.

I had no idea this film existed, but you nailed her look. And yes, that is the scariest custom I've ever seen, too!!!

WOW!!! the things I never know you could do with a Curly Joe DeRita head, yes that's Curly Joe DeRita from the Stooges set back in I believe 1997-1999
figures toy company, Moe-Larry-Curly-Shemp came as sets with different clothes or individually, Curly Joe (not to be confused with Joe Besser) was a special mail
in offer only and just came in regular street clothes. They were about 7 inches tall and came in window boxes.

^^Thanks for the clarification. I've used Curly as custom fodder before, and didn't think it looked the same. However, this figure came as part of a lot, and they were all wearing scrubs.

the dvd I rented had the sequel(?) but I couldn't get more than five minutes thru it.
                        great job on the figure!
