OMG, WHAT? You've never seen "Horton Hears a Who?" It's a classic! Plus it has just been released as a new movie voiced by Jim Carey. But you should check out the original first which has just been re-released on DVD.

    the new one:

    The story of Horton:

Horton the elephant lived peacefully in the jungle when one day he heard a voice coming from a very tiny dust speck that was floating around and landed on a dandelion. Because of Horton's enormous ears he was the only one who could hear the dust speck.
He learned that the dust speck was in fact an entire world full of people and he was talking to Dr. Whovey who believed that there was something bigger beyond the realm of his dust speck universe in which his people lived. His people (the Who's) believed Dr. Whovey was a crackpot because he believed in life beyond their world.

Meanwhile all of the other animals in the jungle had believed that Horton had gone crazy because he was talking to this dust speck and they could not hear the voices themselves. So they decided that both Horton and the dust speck needed to be dealt with. Horton was going to be locked up and the dust speck was going to be boiled. Horton needed to convice them that what he was saying was true. Meanwhile Dr. Whovey had to convice his own people that their world was in jeopardy of being destroyed.

It's a great story which when you compare it to our own planet, we are nothing more than a speck of dust floating through a vast universe of space.
