this is the exact way i remember Joes from my childhood. '75-'76 Adventure Team with muscle bodies, eagle eyes and kung fu grip!! ive been working on this set for the last little while...still need the talkers and some accessories but figured i shoot a pic for everyone to see....

I had joes in the transition period and the early AT days. I'm more partial these days to the Action Soldier. Great looking set.

Yep, those are my memories as well, except the Tower (which I never had) always sticks in my mind and I never had eagle eyes without a beard until I bought a bunch of Action Man figures in England many years later.

Fantastic shot. That is a nice looking Bullet Man! My brother and I had the Eagle Eye's Joe with the Kung Fu grip, an Action Man, Bullet Man and the Intruder as a kid. Sometimes my Kenner Steve Austin teamed up with this crew for some action.

Seems impossible, but somehow as a kid I was completely unaware of G.I. Joe until ARAH came out. To me it's not G.I. Joe unless it's 3 3/4" and COBRA is involved.

I do think those old 12" figures are cool though...nice collection.

That's the way I remember them too. Very fond memories of playing with Atomic Man at my dad's mechanic.
