    How to clean clothes/suits

Any recommendations for cleaning mego outfits? I just picked up a decent Supergirl, but her uniform is has some dirt stains and generally needs a cleaning. I used to use a product called Basic H from Shaklee, but don't have any at this time and I'm wondering if there is something gentle that is generally recommended. I'm sure it's and old question, but I don't know the answer.

    Thanks,

Try Oxy-Clean. It really gets the dirt out.

If not, try woolite or dreft.

I have had great luck with a little degreasing dish-soap in tepid water.

I also recommend blocking the fabric after washing & letting it air-dry.

Oxy clean and Woolite delicates are good.

Don't think I am crazy - but I had some luck with Blue Magic Carpet Stain & Spot Lifter for deep stains and when oxy clean fails.

Do these products and methods work with old G.I. JOE clothes?

I usually hand wash in shampoo.

Would I air dry the clothes VintageMike? Also could I use Woolite on terrycloth. I'm specifically cleaning my mego Verdon and Burke pants. you

Blot them in a rolled up towel, then air dry.

                          No bleach!

Try stain stick or a wee dab of dish soap.rubbed into the stain, and let it sit for a while. Then rinse.
