Reproduction Aquaman vs the Great White Shark playset

For those who don't generally follow the Work in Progress section:
    http://megomuseum.com/community/show...at-White-Shark

    Wow. What a journey.
It's all laid out in my progress thread.
    First and foremost, kudos to
ScottA - donor of the Shark for 3d scanning
Dengar - donor of the box art
Legend of Link - digital file manipulation and someone to gripe at all the time when things went wrong.

Without the help of those three awesome dudes, this would not be where it is today.

The shark was derived from 3D scans of the real deal.
But limitations prevented me from getting it exact - so, it should be pretty easy to spot in the wild as reproduction.
If not, then wow, I really did good lol.

Using my 3D printer, I had to get the scans into something I could work with.
From there, the task of bondo and sanding took over. A little clay sculpting along the way and then another 3D scan to make what you see as a finished product.
Also due to limitations, I had to re-engineer the shark. For example, the tail section (although looks similar to original) is complete made from scratch. In fact, clay and cardboard were put together, then 3D scanned.

One shark tied up my printer for nearly 27hrs. Times that by ten and then add bodywork time per shark, 2hrs per box...dunno how I have slept

Link will take far superior pics for me tomorrow, but until then, my pics will just have to do

This may sound corny, but... Seeing this unfold from planning to work in progress to final product, witnessing the dedication and the labor of love that was put into it, has been truly inspiring. You have shown an amazing amount of dedication to this project. You should be really proud of what you accomplished. It came out perfect.

Very glad that you got to see this through to completion. Great work.

I had one. Remember vividly playing with it in the tub and at the beach. Then it was gone. For years, before the Museum, whenever it came to mind I assumed it was the shark from the Jaws game. Then I saw that game at a con and instantly knew I was wrong. I came across the Museum in the early days and stumbled upon a b/w picture. The box was a huge flashback.
