Pocket Heroes Batman arm variation...has it been documented?

In looking at several pocket hero Batman figures on Ebay, I noticed he came with two different arm types, just like Spider-Man.

The first version has Comic Action arms with the gloves molded in blue and heat fused to the forearms.
The second version has more muscular arms with a resculpted right hand and the gloves are painted.

Has this ever been documented? I didn't see anything about it in the gallery.

Same with the Pocket Heroes version of Superman. One version has CAH hands/arms and the other has painted hands.
