Could Doc's bandless body project be THE WALKING DEAD?

Researching the series recently and I started thinking what great custom megos the characters (walkers included) would make.

Doc has done NIGHT Of the living dead, zombie kit, war of the dead (prototypes?). Walking dead has tons of characters, zombies, the governor, michonne with her sword...

Just seems like a cool idea. I could be wicked wrong. Discuss.

To be honest, this makes more sense to me than Star Wars.

Agree with Iron Mego - very popular property, lots of characters to choose from, he IS making a new kid body, zombies are still "in"...

Though I'm not a fan of the show, I am very, very curious if Doc/Emce is involved. Regardless if this is the secret project or not, I hope Doc has an announcement to make by SDCC.
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

A Walking Dead mego-style line would be a cool way for me to add some zombies to my monster shelf, but I'm not much interested in any of the human characters. It's one of those situations where all that's unique about them is their specific likeness, and if you can't nail that, all you have is a random guy in clothes.

I agree with BoyWonder, I am utterly SICK of zombies!

I think they are cliche, passe and declasse. Not to mention done to death.

I'd like to see something new.

DC and Marvel are good properties, but kind of old.

Yeah but it would be part of the zombie niche. I will buy the Marvel figures, and would buy Star Wars if they were made, but the zombie stuff got old after Night of the Living Dead, to me it's B reel novelty stuff. I wouldn't buy it.

I think the Walking Dead is starting to head on the other side of it's popularity, as in, downhill is coming. So it'd be a bad time to jump into that market, IMO. Probably about 2 years too late to hit the zenith of Walking Dead popularity. Not that there isn't still money to be made.

Game of Thrones, on the other hand, is super-popular right now, and the characters' outfits are just as interesting as their faces.

Mattel should do Walking Dead. Their bodies already stand like the zombies do. When they stand at all that is.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.
