Hallmark 2008 Ornaments
Some of you might know that I have a fairly sizable collection of Hallmark and Carlton ornaments. I just caught a sneak peak at the 2008 and here is a list of ornaments that I thought some of you might be interested in
Superman crashing through a Comic book (apparently this is a first in a series)
Batman as The Dark Knight
Spider-Man (Yawn)
Iron Man (movie version)
Speed Racer Mach 5 (movie version)
Pac-Man replica old time machine (this looked awesome and I suspect it has some sound effects)
Johnny Quest (it appears they are starting a line of old school cartoons)
Space Ghost
Star Wars Imperial Landing Craft
Senator Palpatine
Captain Kirk Trouble with Treasure (this must be from an early Star Trek episode but I can't remember it off of the top of my head...does anyone else remember this? He's almost buried in gold coins)
Star Trek Communicator
Indiana Jones
Fisher Price Play Family Farm (For fans of the Little People)
Star Wars The Final Confrontation (Darth Vader and Luke from Return of the Jedi)
As a side note, my experience has been that most of the ornaments mentioned are not real big sellers and can usually be picked up the day after Christmas for 50% off. The only ones on the list that I think will sell out prior to Christmas are the Pac-Man machine and possibly the Fisher Price Play Family Farm.
