hulk hide away

Is this considered a mego hulk base or just a third party paper doll play set?

I got mine with an eight inch hulk, but to my knowledge there was never a Bruce Banner figure made. Mine is in a Sears box, and I can provide pics if needed.

Tara Toys made this. It was shown in the Sears catalog with the Mego Hulk and other Super Heroes, and was meant for those figures, but not officially sanctioned by Mego, although it was licensed by Marvel. Empire did a similar thing with a line of vans and helicopters. I had one as a kid too, great playset!
