Anthony Balasco of Figures Toy Co. sent along this teaser pic of the first two waves of their upcoming Super Powers line done in classic Mego scale. Okay, that's pretty sweet and waaaaaaaaaay better than the Mattel retro SP plans. I've resisted the repro/retro stuff so far but this is where I give in.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

            That... is.... AWESOME!!
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

That is very cool. Maybe fist fighters should have at least one fist though?

                  WOW!
Fist fighters that mego never did.
                  Awesome.
I wonder if the ones not done in the main line are going to be done as fist fighters first.

Not much a fan of fist-fighters--not even vintage ones. But I will nab Aquaman for sure for display.

I love how Capt. Marvel is fighting Superman in the ad--we know who'll win .

Also, these appear to be actual production figures, so we get a good sense of the other releases.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Yes, those aren't just re-purposed original pieces.

What is the special surprise? I can't find a pic of the card back.

Captain Marvel will win by a mile. And if I can actually buy Captain Marvel and Superman fist fighters, these will be the first Megos in more than 30 years that I'll actually, for real, not kidding, actually play with. Because I want to have fun making Captain Marvel beat up Superman.

"Sue me out of existence, will you, Stuporman? Punch! You're vulnerable to magic? Guess what? My powers all come from magic! Pow! And no, your heat vision just bounces off me. Wham!"

I do wish the figures had fists though. I mean, being true to the originals is all well and good but some improvements are just so obviously a good idea that they should be allowed. Fists are in that category.
