Custom of the Week - 4/21/14 - Game of Thrones wave 7 from sprytel!

A lot of great customs have been posted recently, making it even harder to choose than normal. Ultimately this one was a no-brainer. Continuing the stellar series, sprytel brings us wave 7 of his unique Game of Thrones series of customs. While they're all great in their own right, King Joffrey especially blows my mind.

Check out the earlier waves here:

The first installment for 2014 spotlights sprytel's ongoing Game of Thrones project. Wave 6(!) continues with the same quality as before, which is no small feat: See the Wave6 thread here: http://megomuseum.com/community/showthread.php?91946-Game-of-Thrones-Action-Figures-Wave-6

Thanks for the honor of COTW and the kind words everybody.

I know Game of Thrones isn't quite as big as superheroes around here... but it is clearly my personal obsession. My plan is if I keep cranking these out, eventually I will wear the rest of you down into reading the books and/or watching the HBO show.

I worked with Paul (pmwasson) to make a laser cut crown. He makes the coolest stuff...

It was really a lot of fun having some collaborators on these. In addition to Paul's crown, Bizarro Amy did all the hair re-rooting and styling on Ygritte. And Link did some really cool work with the 3d printer (that unfortunately did not ultimately make it into the final figures).

I can't gush enough about those guys... so talented and so much fun to work with.
