Any ideas for Anna and Elsa from Frozen?

The hairstyles are going to be a pain in the tuchus to pull off, that's what gets me.

The dresses should be easy peasy as long as I don't get too ambitious, or do anything too complicated.

Cool. I think they would be cool to see. Of course, I keep thinking Harry potter customs, but haven't seen any!

Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12

With all the figures/dolls released from the movie you'd think there would be a head out there close to Mego scale.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I wonder if these would work... they are 5 inch dolls, but the heads seem comically large (even for cartoon characters).

Or you could probably repaint and re-root a Dinah Mite head. She has kind of a Disney character stylization to her already.

In fact, I wonder if Mego ever considered doing figures for Disney movies back in the day? I could imagine them making a very cool "Sleeping Beauty" line like they did with WOZ.

$43.00 is a lot of money for four dolls! Especially ones that small!

I wonder if they have them sold separately.

And a Disney line in this scale would be very cool.

As a parent of a "Frozen" obsessed daughter, I know this all too well: "Frozen" merchandise is not cheap.

Have you seen how much they want for the deluxe rare version? It's highway robbery!

If they are in Mego scale, then its not that bad, considering a resin custom head goes for 10 or more.

They look pretty nice. Frozen stuff is really hard to come by, my wife said she heard the Elsa dress that was at the disney store around Christmas is selling for 1,000.00 now. Crazy!

Did some measurements based on photos online, and even though the heads are oversized for the bodies they are on, they look like they will be too small for Mego scale. Bummer.

Also found that the set originally retailed for $25.

I wish I had found this thread earlier. I found the 5" figures at a reduced price. I put them on the Mattel 8" body, their neck plugs are part of the body. They didn't look too bad the problem was where the Mattel neck meets the head is too big. It really makes the head stand out from the body. I was going to try them on the Figure Toys Wonder Girl body, but her neck plug has a huge ball on the end that would have to be cut off. Plus, I hate to lose the 8" scale and pose-ability. If anyone has any other ideas I'd love to hear them.
