There's really no recourse when things go south unless you're paying someone there to represent your company, and even that isn't a 100% guaranteed solution.

I don't really have any issue with waiting, it kind of is part of supporting a kickstarter. Around the same time I contributed to the Armikrog video game kickstarter, and they are still developing the game, development and manufacturing takes time. Being part of a kickstarter by definition is kicking in to start the project from the very beginning when someone needs help getting off the ground. There will always be manufacturing hicups and delays, that just has to be factored in, most people just don't see all of that if a company puts out a product without a kickstarter. They just see the product hit the shelves, they don't realize that it may have taken a year or two to get it there.

^^ Exactly; it's easy to buy things… making them is something entirely different. The commercialism of K$ often masks the true [sic] spirit of the architecture and process.

Just got the update. The excitement is gone for me. Been far too long of a wait. Estimated delivery: February 2014?! Eight months late with more delays; Wouldn't be surprised to see some folks start asking for refunds.

Dave is a cool cat and I like him but this sucks big time.

the update along with the statement that AJ won't be a full line eventually have killed it for me. I was really looking forward to what would happen with an adventure line like this.

I would much rather end up with the figures than a refund.

Dave and I more than anybody can understand your disappointment and frustration because we're experiencing the same thing, and to a far greater degree than anyone else. The factory delays are completely out of our control, there's absolutely nothing we can do about it except be patient. I know that all the parts are finished, it's just a matter of them being shipped over here.

As for AJ not being a full line, that's still up in the air at this point. I can't go into specifics as to why the plans have changed, but I'll know more after the end of the year.

Stretch Goal Heads

I got what I paid for on Kickstarter ( minus stretch goal heads, which I'm REALLY desperately waiting to put on my 2 Type S Bodies)
but I understand what everyone else who paid at the higher levels is going through.

Light At The End Of The Tunnel

The shipment is finally on its way here and according to the tracking information it should arrive on Wednesday 11-12-14. By Friday I'll have everything listed and updated on the 8 Inch Super Store website, including new stock of both flesh tone and brown Type S bodies!

The shipment will include all the parts for the AJ and Sucklord figures, the boots and a few extra items. The stretch goal heads are not included in this shipment but hopefully it won't be much longer and we can get those produced. The tooling for them is already done, it's just a matter of placing an order for the heads.
