So many people wanted an 8" line, but it has already been done. I would prefer something different. Looking forward to seeing these.

Well, this is the place for Mego figures and Mego reissues. It is the main focus, so its understandable. I wasn't around for the original reMego captain Action line and they go for like $130 a piece on ebay, so yeah, I'd love to see an 8" Captain Action line using the new Type S body. I don't mean it to be a knock on this line, but I have no interest in any of the small non-mego-like figures.

3.75" just doesn't do it for me at all.

Going to be giving this line a pass.

I'm interested in seeing what the 3.75 " CA line will look like. Could be interesting.

Still, I wish they'd bring back the 8" CA line, produce a 7" Action Boy and that Round 2 would bring back the 9" Action Boy with uniform sets for him.

Mego made just as many if not more 3.75 inch figures than they did 8 inch figures. Just sayin'

I think considering they are really considering making a Silver Streak vehicle, that helped to sway the decision to move to 3 3/4".

The selling point for these 3.75" Captain Action figures for me are the vehicles and playsets which will be more affordable than for the Round 2 12" CA line.

CA is still mainly about the different disguises. Round 2 said on Facebook that NEW CA DC Comics costumes are scheduled for Summer/Fall 2014. I hope Lady Action and her DC and Marvel costumes arrive in 2014 as well! 12" CA is still best scale!

Congrats, ZICA on new CA license! 3.75" could be fun, too!

be interesting to see if the GI Joe RAH fans embrace this. Even if they don't know who Captain Action and co are, as long as they are cool looking characters that "fit" with their original 80's figures there will probably be happy folks.

Will this be an "O-ring" style figure?

Craig confirmed on Facebook that there are NO O-rings. That makes me happy. I'm an old school RAH fan, but I've always hated O-rings.

This sounds very interesting especially with plans to make a Silver Streak in this scale.
Looking forward to seeing prototypes etc.

I'm a huge G.I. Joe fan, focusing on Real American Hero, and I will be all over the 3 3/4 inch Captain Action. I am a bit disappointed that there won't be O-ring construction. I'm not sure how you do classic RAH without it. Will it be a cut waist like the Sgt. Savage line (but in the smaller 3 3/4th scale) or will they be more like the current 4 inch figures?

The Type S body has the same type of articulation between the torso and pelvis as the 80's G.I. Joe O-ring figures. It simply replaces the hook and post connection with a ball and socket type design, which actually works better. On the outside these will look very similar to 80's G.I. Joe figures, on the inside they will be new and improved.
