    Greatest Dracula artwork EVER!

After years of searching, I finally found this image of a book I had in fifth grade...it was one of those Scholastic books you had to order. I read this thing at LEAST a hundred times. It went everywhere with me and my Remco Mini-Dracula figure for about a year.

This cover just nails the classic Dracula look without looking like Lee or Lugosi. It's my all time favorite version of the count ever.

I like it--it looks a little like the larger Remco Dracula, too.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

        That is really cool.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

That seems REALLY familiar to me. I don't think I had it, but I believe I saw it at a school book fair or something.

I really dig the art too. If Universal has to market a generic Dracula, he should look like THIS!

          Congrats on finding it!

I'm pretty sure I had this too, though I think the cover was different.

That second one has a Langella vibe.
