Is that thing so big, or do you live in a really small house?

I cannot believe how well these are selling. Last Tuesday, I passed up a shelf-full at my TRU, then was told they're selling like mad and the price is skyrocketing.
TRU has a 20% off coupon good until tomorrow, so I'm guessing that helped.
I think we'll see a second wave release since it's Jakk's. If it was Bandai, I'd say one and done.
Gorn - the thing is huge. It's as big as the Man of Steel/Dark Knight child-size figures.Comment

Let the price gouging begin! We went to a toy show in Buffalo today and a dealer had one of these for sale priced at $175! Pretty sure he still had it by the end of the day. We checked out a nearby TRU after the show and they didn't have any in stock. I have a guess about who probably bought them all.Comment

I again went to TRU last night and there wasn't a Godzilla toy to be found in the store. I then stopped by Meijer to pick up cat food and they had a big display, but no giant one. I prefer to buy in person, but I'm close to just ordering one from Entertainment Earth.Mortui Vivos Docent

My local TRU didn't have the giant Jakks figure yesterday, just the Bandai range.
Supposedly, that "bat like" kaiju in the Bandai sets is just one of the monsters Godzilla will face in the movie.PUNY HUMANS!Comment
