Is that thing so big, or do you live in a really small house?

I cannot believe how well these are selling. Last Tuesday, I passed up a shelf-full at my TRU, then was told they're selling like mad and the price is skyrocketing.

TRU has a 20% off coupon good until tomorrow, so I'm guessing that helped.

I think we'll see a second wave release since it's Jakk's. If it was Bandai, I'd say one and done.

Gorn - the thing is huge. It's as big as the Man of Steel/Dark Knight child-size figures.

Hey Gorn, he is 3ft 7 inches long from tail to tip of head and 20.5" tall (though if you move his legs back he is probably 22.5)

gives me a twinge of longing for my old red T-Rex model from aurora. I don't think it was two feet tall, but I do recall that monster taking up quite a bit of square footage of my childhood bedroom.

We checked out a nearby TRU after the show and they didn't have any in stock. I have a guess about who probably bought them all.

I love that "helicopter" shot from the top!
                  Makes it look even bigger...

Ha, I thought so! I really hope I'll be able to find one at retail, getting kinda nervous. I must have one, I love big toys, look how big he is compared to the Shogun Godzilla, damn!

I again went to TRU last night and there wasn't a Godzilla toy to be found in the store. I then stopped by Meijer to pick up cat food and they had a big display, but no giant one. I prefer to buy in person, but I'm close to just ordering one from Entertainment Earth.

Be patient. Meijer will get them soon. They are a Toys R Us exclusive until late April. After that they should start showing up all over.

This thing really is huge. Not as tall as jakks vader, but harder to display because of the tail. It's LOng!!! I have it on the floor attacking a shelf.....it'll have to do.

My local TRU didn't have the giant Jakks figure yesterday, just the Bandai range.
Supposedly, that "bat like" kaiju in the Bandai sets is just one of the monsters Godzilla will face in the movie.
