figure your thread is good enough to post this here instead of doing a new on. So far that Jakks zilla is looking much better (and a very tempting purchase) than these Bandai toys made for the upcoming film which can be seen here. I still think the new Zill looks like an over bloated crocodile

I like the size of that figure...but the head really looks outta scale. Is that what he actually looks like in the film?

The design would have benefited from a smaller chest and a neck.
Now he looks likes Thor hit him on the head with his hammer.

But I love this bigger scale figures and Godzilla remains a favorite, so....

He looks and stands like one of my elderly aunts that wears mumus and uses a walker. Where is he gonna find tennis balls big enough?

That said, this is my most anticipated 2014 film. by a wide margin.

Looks like he's wearing an 80's puffy vest

Is see a tad of Zilla from 1962's King Kong vs. Godzilla - and that's not a bad thing

I'm fine with the look. I'm kind of smitten with this toy because it's Shogun size, my daughter might use it for Barbies.

$50 might hold me back a little but watch out clearance!

Oh hell no, I'll be all over that toy like stink on a monkey!

If this was a Japanese Bandai release it would cost a ton, but Jakks' big toys are relatively inexpensive, so this will be mine!

I will probably buy this toy. I'm looking forward to the film. I'd like to see Jakks do other jumbo monster figures. If they do well with the Godzilla license, maybe Jakks will make a 24-inch-tall 1954 or 1962 Godzilla.

Thats it??? I was expecting him to be in the 84$ and up range. Still nothing to sneeze at but 50$ isn't too bad all considering. At the same time I am obviously not going to play with it, have no real use for it and years after I kick the bucket it will be more fuel for my brother who would have to clear all of this stuff out to curse my name- BUT I still might purchase it anyway- that young 8 year old Shogun Warrior toy love is too deep in my veins to say no to this

The $50 pricetag for this incredible toy just further solidifies the ridiculous price of Gentle Giant's $450 Alien figure.

Apparently the Alien has evolved...Facehugger = Chestburster = Moneygrubber.

I would be interested in a Jumbo with any pre 70s Goji. Not so interested in this lizard king.

ebay preorder prices are pretty high on this fellow. Interesting since it is supposed to be available soon at the suggested retail.

Yeah, I can't see why people would pay those high prices when you can preorder them at bidbadtoystore and entertainmentearth for $50. I guess some folks just can't wait.
