Found the answer on a very informative site (seems to be part of our very own Mego Museum):

Mego Action Figure Collector's FAQ version 1.1 November 1997

Written by: Rob Chatlin (here is the link: http://www.megomuseum.com/faq/index.shtml)

          Batman/Robin Removable Masks

These Product Lines/Figures had Type II Bodies only:

          Aquaman (Great White Shark variation)

          Hulk

          Thor

          Conan

          Fantastic Four (males)

          Fist Fighters

Based on his release window, definitely T1.

There was a post on here which stated that the figure came with "plastic joints", I take it that this would be the T0 body to which Josephcardone has referred to.

Q: Was the figure released on both a T1 (metal joints) and a TO type body. Or was it just released on the T0 type body, with the plastic joints?

If it was released on a sealed card and not so darn rare it would be easy. It's not an easy one to answer. I know he has a type 1 superman head without the SI color shift and absolutely no markings on the neck. I've seen him with a bit of a cross eyed look paint-wise. Mine has black cleats (just like the white ones). and on a type 0 body. I've heard of him being on both t1 and t0 bodies and with white cleats and white aj low ankle boots. But other than that I have no idea.

Yes, I can confirm that the Don mib that i used to own was on T0, also it had the earlier looking Superman head that puts it in line with Solid Box Superman, so either same time or slightly earlier.

Thanks hobub. I think that the fact you have stated "I've heard of him being on both t1 and t0 bodies", is good enough for me. Unless of course those on the T1 bodies were "customs".
On the galary, it shows the figure in a box. Did not realise it may have also been released on a card, and with whits AJ boots!!
