Wonder why Mattel didn't make a Galactca console game for Intellivision? (although, one could argue their Space Battle game was Galactica, if not by name).

Yeah, Space Battle was conceived as a licensed Galactica game, which is why the enemy ships look like Cylon Raiders. But the license fell through so they eventually just released it without the Galactica name.
