Hey guys,
This guy was so much fun to piece together. I like this character simply for his looks. SO, with that said, ill probably travel out of the "classic superhero" realm and do more unique character like this fellow here. I have a feeling ill start a slight GOTG addiction here soon, so be prepared
Lets get started:
once i discovered this character, i knew exactly what head i wanted to use (RA Black Adam). Since i had already been working with the RA BA for Namor, i simply repurposed that head. I started by shaving all his hair off, making him more "elf" like by tweaking the ears and jaw structure, and then i cut a big ole hole in his head
you'll see why.
I knew instantly how i wanted to do this head and i accomplished it by mere luck. I placed a piece of craft foam inside the cut i made on the head, i traced his head curve, and cut out the design i desired. Here's how it all started:
after i had the fin done, it was all downhill from there.
heres my recipe:
-My head with craft foam fin
-My Body
-the base outfit was a CAT jumpsuit
-I made the red sleeve
-RA Shazam gauntlets
-can't forget a craft foam belt, wrapped in gold material and used sewing pin as accents
-CAT Hands
-My booties
-a bow made from some heavy gauge wire bent to shape and then painted
