    Ah man how could I have forgotten "Fiend Without a Face"...that's a great , great movie....didn't the creatures have a cameo in the looney tunes movie?
    Day the Earth Caught Fire is such an underestimated movie....
    ENGLISH AND DAMN PROUD OF IT British by birth....English by the grace of God. Yes Jamie...it is big isn't it....

        night of the blood beast
        earth vs the spider
        the tarantula
        war of the worlds
        fiend without a face
        invasion of the saucer men
        deadly mantis
        beast from 20,000 fathoms
        I married a monster from outer space
        the thing (from another world)
        creature from the black lagoon and revenge of the creature

        with a special mention to

        mutiny in outer space and day the world ended

        most outrageous yet somehow enjoyable
        creeping terror and frankenstein meets the space monster

          p.s there are at least a dozen others so may be I really love them all. drakghoulie . anybody seen demon from devils lake (1964) I'd like a copy. it was later re-made as night fright with John Agar.
