Thank you all SOOoo much. I'm just really glad that other people appreciate and get joy out of the same toys I do.
Don't get me wrong, if nobody did I'd still be plugging away shooting, all by myself, like a weird lone underground freak.
So I'm REALLY glad other people like them too.

I've probably said it before, but I'll say it again: Your backgrounds (and lighting, material, etc.) really add character to your toys.

These are really cool. Do you paint your own backgrounds? I didn't know they made all those figures, especially the Winter Warlock. What set is King Moonracer from? He looks like a plush toy. I bought the CVS plush one years ago, and I think I still have it somewhere, but that doesn't look like the same toy. Is it a flocked vinyl? Next to Bumble, King Moonracer is my favorite Rudolph character.

I DO paint my own backgrounds! And I am REALLY not good at scenery and paints, so it's always nice to find something to challenge and stretch yourself. I'm still waiting on the skills to magically appear for a spooky swamp forest and grand Oriental landscapes. ..still waiting....

That Moonracer is a fully jointed flocked plastic action figure! He's super sweet too, I couldn't fault him on anything. He was a deluxe figure from the first line:

Or if your really lucky, you can find the scarce later reissue that comes with a pedstal!:

It's really surprising how many figures they made. They kept going and going long past when most people thought they stopped, even changing company names like four times. And since I'm an action figure databaser freak AND a Rankin Bass rabid fan, I've been keeping track of them and added them all on this site.

I just wish they'd make some Leprechaun Christmas Gold figures. I'd die for those. )~(
