    EMCE Demystifying the process of making toys!

    EMCE toys posted some cool shots of some steels molds with accompanying captions explaining the process of plastic injection molding, on Facebook. very cool stuff! Brave gentlemen.

    Cools shots. I think the key is that once you're to this stage (metal molds are made) there's very little you can do to change the end result. Especially if the maker signs off on the test casts. I think sometimes it's assumed that running changes will be made on short runs of figures. There's simply too much expense involved and too little control of what the factory is doing to make that happen. I applaud the smaller guys like Doc, Zica and Castaway for doing all they can to sure this part happens correctly.
