Ben Affleck's Batsuit will get a makeover in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel, it has been revealed. The costume will be based on the design in 'Batman: Noel', a graphic novel designed by Lee Bermejo, Metro.co.uk reported. The graphic novel was based on Charles Dickens' classic tale 'A Christmas Carol' with the cowl featuring shorter ears.

Henry Cavill's wardrobe will also get spruced and that there are 'two separate teams working on the suits' for Superman.

I've never seen that before. It's one of the best outfits for Bats ever created. It does have the functionality thing going for it plus it's immediately recognizable. It would certainly be the best film batman costume to date if this is the foundation.

That's an awesome design for Batman. I'm anxious about the dynamic between the two characters, how will a jaded, wry sarcastic batman play off a Superman that's not quite the Boy Scout? Maybe in a kingdom come style way?

If that is the look (and I doubt anything I read this early) that would be fantastic. Bermejo has always done ultra-realistic, real-world-like designs on Batman, and this one is a nice update to the classic look. It would be the most traditional comic-costume we've seen since Adam West.

Looks like this film is getting crowded. Dick Grayson and Nightwing are now rumored to be hitting the script. If this pans out, I don't feel there is enough time to flush out these characters and give much attention to a cohesive script, let alone a meaningful installment for Superman. Seems like he's becoming little more than host for the other heroes. I AM glad they're putting Affleck in a new outfit. Batman needs to be his own animal in this. Whatever 'THIS' is going to be.
