Owlman - Crime Syndicate of Amerika

Well looks like my recent surgery will advance my customs collection. I've started rolling them out like wildfire. Here's Owlman in his vintage style suit not the new Earth 2 version. As with most of my customs I tried to keep it as close to what Mego would have done as possible.

Crime Syndicate of Amerika were another Earth's evil counterparts of the Justice League. Ultraman(Superman), Super Woman(Wonder Woman), Power Ring(Green Lantern), Johnny Quick(Flash), and Owlman(Batman). I think it was DC direct that did the figure set a couple of years ago.

Looks dead on to me, the rest of the Crime Syndicate are easy compared to this guy.

That sculpt of the head took real talent. Real nice figure. Would like to see the rest of the Crime Syndicate!

Not too familiar with the character, but looks like you could also use him as a template for "Nite Owl" from Moore's "Watchmen." Similar head structure, different colors in the costume. Either way, well done!
