Robin and Tarzan Bodysuit

So that recent auction with the AE Wayne suit has a Robin that someone apparently placed the Tarzan bodysuit on first, then the Robin clothes.

It's made me wonder if that was the original idea.

Just look at Tarzan. It's a bodysuit under the loincloth. Why wasn't he nekkid like Robin?

The bigger factor to me is this might explain why Robin's shorts and tunic always seemed a size too large. What if he was supposed to be like Tarzan, with a bodysuit, shorts and tunic? But it was dropped for cost measures or quality control?

No one can deny the beauty of a Leddy..............However you do bring up an interesting topic of discussion..... why wasn't Robin packaged with a tarzan esque body suit? in my opinion I feel like it would have hade a 1960s burt ward feel to it.
