WGSH Iron man eyes

Hey guys. I recently stumbled upon a minty iron man that I wanted to pick up. My question is... He has a reddish shading around his eyes similar to the head color. I've seen the white shading before but not the reddish color. Is this a known variant? Is it normal? Any help is much appreciated.

If memory serves, all Iron Man figures have the flesh coloring around the eyes.

Could you post some pics? Iron Man does have flesh around the eyes, as Boss said.

I guess it is more flesh colored now that I look at it. It just seemed that I was seeing more white around the eyes lately while I've been shopping around. Btw I haven't figured out how to post pics.

The color around his eyes matches the corners of his mouth.

I'm pretty sure it's just the color of paint they used for the skin at the time. If you look at the other Megos with painted skin, (ie: Batman, Cap) the flesh tones can vary greatly from figure to figure.

You have a beautiful looking IM there though, just reminds me how badly I need to replace mine.

It definitely appears to be original and not a custom job though. I'm chalking this one up to one if those weird production runs by mego.
