A very worthwhile read. I am sewing challenged so anything that helps to save time and mistakes is cool in my book! Thanks! The Batman is looking great too!!!!!!!!!

never have machine sewn, I worry about it speeding me up to much and being buried by customs. Truthfully, I've got hand sewing down to taking me 30-40 minutes for a suit, longer when I add trunks.

FANTASTIC! Do you use stabilizer when you sew the sleeve/torso seams?

I've always been afraid of using a sewing machine for this scale, because I don't want the fabric to get caught in the feed dogs.

I don't use a stabilizer. I just go for it. However, you're right, getting the fabric caught is a big hazard. I still do that about 10% of the time.

You need to do a video on this, still shots only show but so much of the process.

I'd probably need to clamp the camera to my forehead. ;-)

Thank you Boss! Very much appreciated. I haven't dared to use a sewing machine yet as most of the suits I hand sew are made Spandex / Lycra and many say that this type of material gets caught/jammed into the machine... Is that right? You make it look easy here...
