New 6 Million Dollar Man figures revealed

I have more doubles, and in some cases, triples of figures in this retro series than any other line. I think what pulls me in so deeply, besides just being a fan of the show, is BBP's acute awareness to the unique subtleties that made this show so fun. Giving Steve both his jump suit and iconic khaki's were a blast. The variants with the mustache and chest hair;The key chains with the iconic sound bites; And getting a Big Foot figure based on Andre's likeness. All of those features show you how invested these folks are to the show. And not just pumping out product without any personal feeling for it. So it's unique in so many ways. And from my perspective, when it's gone, it will likely never return with this kind of love in the 8 inch format again. It's a gift from those of our generation who know what this show meant to so many of us. So a big THANK YOU to Jason and everyone involved in making this series shine so well. It's appreciated.

I'm going to have to make a custom Sador from "Battle Beyond the Stars" with that John Saxon head! That's another movie I'd love to see 8" and 3 3/4" retros for!

Why does it feel like we've been waiting forever for Barney Hiller and Astronaut? Just how far off was the original release date? I am still getting these for sure but I admit the waiting kind of take a little from the initial excitement.

I have one question about the John Saxon figure

He's based on the Mask-a-tron character. He is really a robot in the toy line. Tho in the TV show he actually played one of the aliens, (an evil one), that controlled Bigfoot to commit crimes. Maybe Teressa could whip up a custom jumpsuit to make him more TV authentic for ya Mikey.

Even though I'm gonna stick w/ my original Kenner line, it warms my heart to see some excitement generated over SMDM. As a kid, I remember the boys at school talking about this show every Monday, (especially the major ones like Venus Death Probe and Bigfoot) and staging fight scenes at recess, and jumping off the slide w/ the "da-na-na-na-na" sound. I was more of a Bionic Woman fan then, but I loved the crossovers. I really hope the kids of all you fans of the new stuff will get into it too; watching the shows on DVD w/ their parents, and re-enacting it w/ these toys. Right on, guys!
