I received an email flyer from BL tonight and the first thing listed are the MOTU and Ghostbusters figures. So if people didn't know yet they soon will. It also listed 25 SKU numbers.

I did a quick edit of Jason's list. Hurricane Hordak is shown on the email flyer I received and may be out there too.

The Ghostbusters figures they are getting are the 12" 2-packs from Matty of Egon/Peter and Ray/Winston. They were shown in the flyer as well and I've seen the Egon/Peter set. If they are getting any retro stuff it wasn't listed.

Very good deals but seems like suicide for the collector's club IMO. 50 to 75% off their original sale price is insulting on so many levels... but then again a deals a deal.

I'm honestly a bit ticked at Matty Collector but still happy for people getting good deals.

All those years of subbing while enduring Matty scare and shame tactics and the run around by Digital Rivers non existent customer service and slow as dirt inflated shipping prices. Fighting the white screen of death trying to get "exclusive" figures that "sold out" in minutes that are actually still available years later in bulk quantities heavily discounted at Biglots. Getting stuck with a sub where you end up with more figures you don't want just to get the few you do want because we are all scared into it by the fake sell outs.

I had it up to here with Matty and didn't sub this year or order a single thing this year from them. Do not regret it one bit. This just reaffirms it.

Hit two in Tacoma today...the one on Pearl and the one on Bridgeport. Nothing. Lots of DC, Marvel, Power Rangers, and transformers. Oh well.

Everyone of these Guys "Sold Out" ....
Colllector Club Folks paid 32 + ... for All these Guys, with shipping and Tax...
The way they market the Clubs ..., as sorta " U Better or Else" ...

And ALL THESE Guys ..., are showing up in a 2nd Hand store for 10 each ?
.... This might be devastating for Mattel in the Long Run ...

imo ..., Mattel Needs to offer up an Appology to Club members..., or something .., or Give em a Free figure. But We know thats not gonna Happen ....

I feel bad for the subbers. There are numerous figures my kids would love, but I cannot bring myself to pay the collector price.

I'm also wondering if Matty is killing the deal. The deliveries aren't showing and supposedly Orko is going back on sale at Matty.

If the manager Scott talked to is right, that this is supposed to "last" for 16 weeks, then what does that exactly mean?
