Think I am going to need a case of these. They are just that damn awesome.

Planet of the Apes in this style would be the only property to possibly top it for me.

I keep coming back to this thread just to drool. I'm not even a $6MDM fan, but these will be mine. Who was the genius at Kenner who came up with hot pink color scheme to sell a boys' toy line?

These will look great hanging in my collection.

I'm really loving the simple elegance of Kenner type figures. Super 7's Alien line and now Zica's SMDM line will both be joining my collection. I keep thinking of other properties I'd love to see in this format! Wouldn't KISS be great too?!

very cool, great to see a good 6MDM line. If this gives you any inroads at Universal, howabout a Kolchak or Monster line?

I'd be up for those as well. I was never able to acquire those 3 3/4" scaled monsters when I was a kid. Diamond Select Toys Monsters don't appeal to me the same ( the action figures not the 8" retros, those are great)

I've seen the announcement for these on Facebook and one other toy forum, and I'm baffled by some people poo-pooing these for what they aren't (modern, overly detailed sculpts). I'm baffled that there are some collectors who truly don't get it. I guess there's no accounting for taste. It's probably a vocal minority, but still, anyone who can't feel the inherent awesomeness of these needs to get their eyes checked.

And not only did he wear his tracksuit all the time, it had a picture of himself on it!

At the risk of being publicly scorned I honestly don't remember the Kolchak series at all, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't consider it. Seems like there's definitely a fanbase for it. As for a monster line, I think Remco did a great job with the Universal monsters in this style so I'm not so sure there would be a market for what would basically be reproductions.

Having never played with 3 3/4 figures, I am usually not interested in them,
But I may have to get these cuz they are so freakin' cool!!!

EDIT: Ooh, $20.00 each??? Yikes! I will have to stick with the 8 inch figures.

Oh but Hammer Horror films haven't been done as figures before. I would love to see those happen! Oh, and Dark Shadows!

Hammer would be downright amazing! And they've been licensing Hammer stuff out more lately.
