It always confused me as a child what figure the KO uniforms and accessory sets were made for. I thought they should all fit Gijoe! I didn't understand that they were made for whatever figure was popular at that moment whether it be Gijoe, Ken, Lone Ranger, Big Jim or Mego. It drove me crazy as kid trying to figure out what would fit.
I have been making some connections recently and thought I'd share some pics of what I have so far. It's amazing how many sets have been made in all 3 scales to fit Gijoe, Big Jim, and Mego. Mego did this with several sets! All 3 scales made by one company! Anyone have pics to share?
Does anyone have a Meks Deep Sea Diver set loose or MIP. I am trying to find out if the Deep Sea Diver Helmet is scaled to fit Big Jim or copied from Gijoe. Meks is a toy line from Germany that knocked off Big Jim but some of accessories are copied from Gijoe so it could go either way.
