Just received the arrival notice. In theory this means they will arrive in the US next week, and ship to you the day after we receive them at our warehouse.

Oh, and guess what? We just announced that these are super-limited editions - limited to just 1,500 pieces each.

that doesn't sound promising. The limited edition part.
      Fresh, not from concentrate.

Surely with numbers that low someone will post a direct link to buy on day one.
I'll take Oscar, liked him the first moment I saw him and helped my excitement for companies like BBP to succeed....but if I have to work to find the brand new fig...well, that's not my game.

This does not sound good, 1500 each? Is this to generate excitement, or are sales of these figures not doing well? I have wanted Oscar and Fembot since they were announced. After all the delays on these figures if my order at BBTS is cancelled and I can't get these, I am done. I will not pay scalper prices on Ebay for these figures.

When was this decision made? Why keep your fans in the dark about this? If numbers are this low, there will be a lot of angry fans who can't get these figures.

These have been available to order from Entertainment Earth since October. You can still do that. I don't see any reason to believe scalper prices have arrived. Second tier characters are going to get lower production. Makes sense to me. So order now while the supply is there. Here is the link.

I went from being super-excited to kind of disengaged. If I countdown for months with excitement only to lose out because I refuse to buy both figures when I only want an Oscar, I'm gonna be pretty unhappy. I hope I have no issues snagging one when they finally arrive.

I just checked out EE and BBTS for stock and they are both still selling Oscar and Fembot. I'm taking this as a good sign that I will get my figures. Since EE still has SDCC exclusive Rudy from last July, maybe these figures are not selling as well as they thought. My only hope is that we at least get the five figures they have anounced so far (OSCAR,FEMBOT,ASTRONAUT STEVE, BARNEY, AND MASKATRON).

Here's a better deal. Two figures for $38.99.

the amount of produced figures sounds about right for these characters (my guess is that it would take a couple of years to move 1,500 of each if they're lucky). I think "limited editions" is more of a marketing tool.

I only want an Oscar, so maybe someone will have one in WV in June.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

While I am not disagreeing with you that this is for marketing, I'm also telling everyone that there will only be 1500 pieces made. In fact, half have been pre-sold before they even arrived on day 1.

So......where does one pre-order an Oscar Goldman without a Fem-bot, or am I forced to pay $40 for one figure??
