I'm loving the SMDM line, but was a little disappointed with the softness of the Steve Austin head sculpt as well as the size. Any chance of a revision with the upcoming Astronaut version?

I didn't think about this. It would be a perfect opportunity for BBP to fix their SMDM head for us.Comment

According to BifBangPow! JLabs there will be a smaller head!!!
Hey y'all! This is a quote from BifBangPow! JLabs back in January!!!
I underlined, and highlighted the most important part!!!
Hi Everyone! Happy New Year! We love all of the ideas. Thankfully, we have some good news to start 2013 with. The next series of 8-inch figures from us is actually in production - believe it or not. Yes, we did overcome the hurdles of 2012 and the figures promised 9-12 months ago are actually scheduled to ship in Q1. Just to remind folks, those figures are:
The Six Million Dollar Man Oscar and Fembot
The Venture Bros Brock, Killinger, Molotov and Billy
The Twilight Zone Alien, Nurse, Cyclops and Alicia
Doctor Who Leela, Sutekh, Scaroth and Morbius.
We are simultaneously working on finalizing additional characters from all of those brands including:
Battlestar Galactica Athena and Lucifer
Doctor Who Li H'Sen Chang and Mr. Sin, and Dalek
The Six Million Dollar Man Steve Austin Astronaut (smaller head) and Barney Hiller
The Venture Bros. Shore Leave and Alchemist
So that's 23 announced figures we are working on right now. What's next? Previously shown figures from Comic-Con including an 8-inch Dexter Morgan, Doctor Who 1st Doctor, Kraal and Magnus Greel.
And then there's Toy Fair next month - we will be at booth 4950. Yes, more unannounced 8-inch figures are scheduled to be shown. And we also promise a few surprises, announcements and 8-inch exclusives for SDCC 2013. We also have a ton of other (non EMCE) items. Come for the 8-inch, stay for the glassware, 3 3 / 4 inch figures, bobble heads, journals, lunchboxes, license plate frames, water bottles and a whole lot more! Happy New Year from the BBP team!
Thought it would be fun for everyone to post their re-mego wishes for the new year! I'd like to see BBP have a...less challenging year in 2013. 2012 (the latter half anyway) seemed to be full of unfortunate obstacles, from release dates being pushed back significantly due to customs issues, to the heartbreaking cancelationComment

That's great news! The martian heads have been my biggest complaint of these figs. Hopefully Steve gets a little vitamin D as well.
I really hope to see 20 waves from this line. I love it! Would love to see a George Foreman figure too.Check out my website: Megozine Covers - HomeComment

Michael Austin, Jim Castilian, Kate Mason, and James Goldman! Oh yeah, John Perry(Sonny Bono) and Dr. Franklin(John Houseman). Need to get a Bionic Woman line up and running(no pun intended), too.Comment

Wow! Great looking figures! I just love this line!! BBP is really knocking this out of the park. And that new Steve Austin figure looks like he has a new head sculpt as well. I might be wrong, but the nose and hair line look different. Barney looks perfect too! This is one of the most exciting lines out there, in my humble opinion. So nice to see so much love given to a classic license. I sincerely hope these sell!! I want them to keep going!Last edited by MIB41; Jun 2, '13, 10:44 PM.Comment
