    CTVT questions

I'm sure a lot of you have purchased the CTVT figures. I have not but, I'm wondering from someone who has had a good look at
the female figures. Do you think they would make good base for custom female figures? The smile on them look really big and I'm not sure what the out come would be.
also, is it possible to re-root these to change the hair color?
    Thanks

The female CTVT heads you mentioned are way to big for the bodies and some come with neck plugs, not holes like the old Mego style.

The generic heads with various hairs colors pictured above are about the same size as the Supergirl head. Those can be re-rooted for a different hair style and you can repaint the face to your liking.

That's what I was afraid of. Riddle me this... If I remove the hair from the head and cast it. There will be an estimated 4.86 % of shrinkage that occurs. Do you feel that would be enough to be a more acceptable scale?

They are fine heads. They just don't look like the charactors I want to do figures on. The others heads have a close enough resemblance that a repaint would make it spot on.
            thx

Sooooo, has anyone on the board taken one of these heads and made a cast of it. It seems like it would be pretty straight forward.
              1. remove the head.
              2. remove the hair.
              3. seal the hole in the neck or plug of the neck
              4. Make a cast.
