    Fate of the Trouble Shooter

It's really hard for me as a collector to not go completely nuts on vintage Adventure team GI Joe, there is some sort of trigger that gets pulled when I see sets like this. It's like my inner four year just wakes up and starts demanding things. Who am i to say no? I gotta live with him...

The box artwork would knock you out.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

Great memories. And the best part? It didn't cost $300 to purchase like it would today.

Man, I love that set, (I could do w/o the dopey bird though ) , but I would just settle for the cool equipment pack in the back, as I have 2 AT ATVs and it would fit in the space in the back.

I got this set when I was 11 yrs old for Christmas '75. Loved it! Played with it till the treads broke, then my Dad fixed it with a piece of wire and I played with it more.....LOL. That was my last big GI Joe set as a kid. A few months after that I got a Mike Powers Atomic Man, and that was the end of my GI Joe aquisitions (till I became an adult collector). I had a great time with that stuff though!
