Any toy manufacturer that promises a figure will be made before it comes out is full of it. Now, saying it's "planned" is another story.

I really feel like we've seen all the Retro figures we're going to see from DST. That's why I have not bought Picard or Borg or Mirror Kirk and Spock. When they cancelled Vina and Chapel it was over for me.

i bought them all, except Borg which i have not snagged yet. even if this is the end I still wanted them all. i actually have bought multiples of most of them, one to open and one to stick in a box, LOL

With the announcement of CTVT Batman repro's, anything is possible. I seem to remember Dr Mego saying he was trying to pull something off....

If it were up to Paul I am sure we would have already had Vina and Chapel. Good to know he is still fighting for us on the ST front.

I'm not sure why they can't release Chapel & Rand at Comic Con. They could have them as a travelling exclusives. Take them to New York at C2E2 (or whatever) as well.

Retailers may not want them, but crazed toy fans sure would.

I'd break up the Chapel and Vina combo, and team them up with a better seller each.
Just as an example, Chapel with Sarek, and Vina with a Tellarite.

I think that pairing the two female figures worked against it. They also had less play value for kids.

It wasn't supposed to be 2 females together, Capt Pike was to have Vina and he Salt Monster was to have Chapel. Problems getting the right look on the women caused delay and the 2 women got left behind.
