The box is a mark of genius! The arm looks fantastic. Keep pushing.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

So I kept at the clear PLA prints at zero infill (hollow).
Ran this run at 100 microns in high res...nice sleek shinny exterior and a hollow interior.

The paper is the thin kind used for sale receipts.
Artwork is merely drawn with markers lol

          So fonzie became a donor.
Continued down the path of hollow parts with the artwork inside..built as one piece mind you....
A tad fragile because they are very fine and very thin...but ain't like its gonna do anything other than stand in a box lol...

          Gentlemen, we can rebuild him...

You are a true pioneer! Really cool and luv the chances you are taking. The arms turned out great. Luv that you are taking the concept of the BBP/Kenner figure and expanding upon it.

              Thanks Chris!
Actually, I didn't even think of BBP's bionics when I conjured this up - I was thinking more along the lines of the old stuff:
              critical+assignment+arms+2.jpg

Had to do a photoshoot so I could gather images for my box idea...here is probably the last time the bionics see the light of day once his clothes go back on...

and didn't want to spend a huge amount of time on it, but here is the final design of the Kenner box in 8" scale...

Love the look of those bionics. I assume you went with Fonzie for the arm raising action feature?

Wild! I luv it. The pix of the bionic arms made me smile.

I love it, my Steve custom has a fonzie body as well, you have taken it all to a whole nuther level.

                      Thanks folks!
The fonzie body was a mere fluke...I needed a donor for the legs...happened to have one in the parts bin...and once I saw the lever....it just clicked and gave me my bionic gimmick so I could finish my box artwork.
Gotta get it printed and make my chest decal then he can move to finish customs!

                        Looks awesome.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Wow, this is coming along great. I like how you are building in some very toyetic aspects. The Fonzie lever will give it some of that old Kenner fun.

Wow! It's looking great! I'm trying to figure out if there is a model car engine block you could use to match the original.
