Mego Prototype Old B.O.B from the Black Hole

Prototype Week continues with another look at Mego Corp's lost treasures courtesy of Tory Mucaro, today it's the weathered Old B.O.B from the Black Hole, a figure that never saw release in the United States.

Old B.O.B.'s the greatest, and as a child always wished I had one. Thank you, I love this kind of stuff.

Very nice! It looks rather familiar - in that I think I've seen this in some Mego catalog or advertising photography. The glossy paint on the body and the textures of the dented areas are what comes to my mind.

This - and Twiki as well - were probably photography models!

That's very likely considering they ended up in Tory's hands.

This cast seems rougher than Twiki. Is that from the mold or the original sculpt?

Seeing this and the Twiki makes you want to go out and collect both lines.
