Equinox - Batman Villain from Brave and the Bold animated series

Here we have Equinox from Brave and the Bold.

I modified a custom Spawn head, custom suit and paints by me.

    With Mattel Batman

QUIZ: Does anybody know why I made this custom in reverse? Why is the black on his right side and the white on his left just the opposite of the cartoon character?

    Looking forward to the answer.

Hope you enjoy him and, as always, thanks for looking.

    Peace, Love and Megos,

    Austin

Nice, so that character had no background in the comics? I assumed he had been a silver age villain....

Actually he was based on the old JLA villain Libra but I can't recall why they changed the name/altered his appearance...

I would guess you changed it because you used a Star Trek Cheron outfit?

Close. I used a Mego Trek Cheron body. So, when I designed the suit (and printed it) I had to flip-flop the ying and the yang to match the colors of his hands. Solid detective work. Batman would be proud.

Love it! Did you use a Cheron body which already has a black hand on the right and a white on the left? Very clever solution.

So you changed it just because of hand colors? I woulda got a black and white CTVT body and used the hands. 6.00 investment. BTW I'm just saying what I woulda done, lets not turn this into Wolverines claws

I could have easily done that as well. But, as most of you know, my whole style is Megoesque, and how much more Megoesque can you be by taking the old leftover Cheron body inventory and reusing them on a new WGSH villain in order to save money.

That's what Mego would have done. And, that's why I did it this way!
