Adam West Batman

Mattel has official announced Batman TV toyline, as I read at Superherohype.com. So what does this mean for us? Any retro-style figures coming our way related to the Batman TV show?

They showed a lone pic of a 6" scale Batman, like their Movie Masters figures at SDCC this year.

We may get Retro, but I bet Mattel thinks that format is dead. They apparently didn't feel the Super Heroes or Ghostbusters were successful enough to continue.

Unfortunate it has to be Mattel. They had such great talent on board with them to make the Retro line work and they fought tooth and nail to kill it. I agree. I doubt there will be a Mego Adam West unless someone else makes it. Good news though. The West batman is on the list for Round 2 to consider. They are currently polling on their Facebook page. Anyone interested should go vote! Now THAT would be awesome! A Captain Action, Adam West, Batman.

i know hot toys is making the 60's show,but i know their prices are overly steep for many.I wouldn't be surprised if mattel makes a remego in some fashion,since the show is retro.

I'm just going to buy the Hot Toys Batman, and that'll be it. One good high-quality version of Adam West is enough for me.

I agree wholeheartedly! Mattel is the LAST company that should be taking a crack at this! I don't even look at the Barbie dolls they have anymore because they keep putting out the same old thing. Even the collectible ones aren't all that inspiring, not to mention as expensive as all heck.
