48 Hours is great too...but a tad under Trading Places.

I don't count Shrek because I simply don't count voice-overs as "real" acting...and I didn't count 'Delirious' or "Raw" because it's stand up concert films, but 'Delirious' and 'Raw' are probably his best stuff ever as far as being hilarious is concerned.
Beverly Hills Cop, funny and good action.......48 hours a close second and Trading places third.
Scholar/Gentleman/Weirdo
48 Hours is a gritty crime drama/action movie with moments of inspired hilarity, while Trading Places is a goofy screwball comedy. So... take your pick which genre you prefer; those first two movies of his are still his best!
I like coming to America and the Golden childall the other ones mentioned are good too,and if Shrek counts then that's my #1
