Got mine in today---the painted heads turned out much better than Pike and Picard.

Kirk's head paint perfectly matches his body color, and isn't as shiny as the previous painted heads. His uniform is awesome!

Spock's head is a bit shiny and his uniform doesn't fit quite as well as Kirk's, but is still very nice.

The painted heads aren't a dealbreaker for me on these---if they could get rid of the shininess of the paint on future releases like they did with Mirror Kirk, I imagine most fans wouldn't mind the paint.

Thanks for the pics! I was VERY surprised to see how good they look painted. The color match with the body really helps sell them. I might have to take the dive and get these.

They look like they're wearing make up, and the costumes look like bad customs. These are hugely disappointing, and I will not be buying them.

Yep, that's what I want to know...
The first heads were perfect, why the paint job now?

I'll probably get these somewhere down the line. The paint work is better than Pike and Picard, agreed. Spock's shirt could have been tailored a bit better.

I'd rather see these cast in the flesh colored vinyl, but Mego painted some characters skin (Batman, Captain America), so it's not without precedent. These look pretty nice.

I just got back from vacation. Thanks for posting the pics! We have been selling them pretty well, so people must be pretty impressed with them. I think they look pretty sharp. We have some left if anyone wants to order them, shoot me a PM.

Ok, they looks a bit better now that I've seen them up close.
The only thing that really bothers me is Kirk's belt. It's too broad, and it's too high up. Any higher, and it's a bra. A simple knotted belt would have been better.
