It could be fun. The KISS line was a welcomed treat.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

I do think certain, more popular rockers would sell.

I'd buy Motley Crue, the Beatles, and Van Halen (1978-1984).

I've aways wanted to do Like a "Monsters of Rock Line" ...I'd buy them, if made .
            Here's my Line Up ...

Rob Zombie ( Make him Zombie-ish with the Trench Coat as in later years. )
Slash ( Top Hat a Must ...., and a switch out skull Head)
Marilyn Manson ( Probably Beautiful People look )
Dime Bag Darryl ( Complete with his Confederate Guitar )
Ozzy ( Bark at the Moon Ozzy , where he's WereWolfed out)
Iron Maiden's Eddie is a No Brainer imo. I like his Civil War Outfit best.

            I'd start here ......, I know there was a couple others ....
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

That's a good list BlackKnight. I like the skull Slash head idea.

              I would want to add:
Ziggy Stardust (I have a head sculpt ready to go...Just sayin'. "
              Lemmy Kilmister
              The Misfits
              Wendy O. Williams
              G. G. Allin (it would never happen! HAHA!)
              The Ramones
              Dee Snider
              Jim Morrison
              Jimi Hendrix

Ah...there really are too many to name.
Expectation is the death of discovery.

While the Beatles license would be astronomical price wise, they would offer the best chance for success IMO. Plus you could do variations. The original 60's black suits, Sgt. Peppers, animated Yellow Submarine figures, and 70's Let It Be versions. I doubt you would sell enough to make it worth while but if done well they could be cool. Jimi Hendrix could be cool too.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Haha, you never know, there is a bobble head after all.

I would buy The Misfits (as long as Glenn was made) and The Ramones....and THE MUMMIES.

                      Hmmmm....

It's a great idea. The trick would be selling enough to cover the invariably high cost for the rights.

....but it's still an awesome idea.

ELVIS. You can do a young Elvis, '68 comeback Elvis, and use a Mego/CTVT fat body for the out-of-shape 70's Elvis. Give him a peanut butter and 'nanner sandwich accessory, too.

Down with CrimsonGhost's suggestion of a Lemmy figure. C'mon, who doesn't love Lemmy? The man's adorable!

                          lemmy1.jpg

Also, BlackKnight's on the right track with Eddie from Iron Maiden - that character alone could carry a line of figures from almost every album cover, all of 'em would look sweet on a shelf.

                          Few other ideas:
GWAR (I want a Beefcake the Mighty figure!)
                          King Diamond
Anthrax and Public Enemy - we have a Scott Ian figure, we need his bandmates! AND Flavor Flav! BRING THE NOISE!
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

Alice Cooper would be huge, he's the original monster of rock.
