For some reason my dvr didn't record tonight's episode. Was it on or not? And if it was, what was the name of the episode?Comment

Arrow is quickly becoming my new favorite T.V. show. Episodes are well-written, well directed, and leave me wanting to see more. With every plot-twist, comes a new revolution, which is genuinely shocking, nothing is forced or corny. Damaged and Year's End have pretty much raised the bar for the kind of quality this show can produce (though Honor Thy Father, Vendetta, and Trust but Verify are also very good too).
The way the flashbacks are presented is very well done, shown throughout the episode. That way, it feels like there are two stories going on at once, and shows us how Oliver managed to become such a bad-***.
While everybody does a good job, I feel that Stephen Amell is the stand-out, and should get a lot of kudos for his performance; the contrast between the not-caring, playboy attitude and the intense, brooding 'Hood' persona is very-well acted.
In short, Arrow is a modern re-telling that both, people who are first getting into the character and the hard-core fan boys/girls can both watch together. It is DC's best work.
I'll also be sure to buy the S1 boxset and score this September too.
731941, the comic issue he first appeared in (More Fun Comics #73) and the year the comic was released (1941). Just one of the many fan-nods throughout the show.Last edited by Operation:Mego; Jan 30, '13, 5:40 PM.sigpic

I actually like the name Arrow better. I remember Kara called Ollie Arrow on the JLU Tv series from when i was a kidYour powers on Earth may seem extraordinary, Kal-El, but we are not gods. - Jor-El (Smallville Season 5)Comment

Wow....let's just say 'Betrayal' lived up to its name, and left us with a jaw-dropping, eye-widening cliff-hanger.sigpic
